Minimum advertised price (MAP) Unilateral Policy

Introduction:

STRATTEC Security (STRATTEC) a Wisconsin Corporation has determined that in order to preserve the brand integrity and value of its BOLT^® family of locks is to institute a Unilateral policy for minimum advertised price (MAP).

Policy coverage:

This MAP policy covers all STRATTEC direct accounts located in the United States, however this policy is not an agreement nor does require any acceptance whatsoever from STRATTEC’s customers. It is entirely within the discretion of the reseller whether to comply or not comply.

Unilateral action:

STRATTEC reserves the right to suspend or end its business relationship with any Retailer, Warehouse Distributor or other wholesale account that fails to meet this standard. STRATTEC also reserves the right to restrict the use of its trademarks including its BOLT^® brand.

Policy:

Retail – The current listing of BOLT^® products including MSRP (suggested retail price) and applicable MAP prices are provided in this document (see applicable MAP products and prices). Free shipping or free installation is acceptable and is not a violation of this policy.  * See guideline for limited promotional sales opportunities below.

* Sales Promotions Guideline:

1. All promotions must have STRATTEC’s prior approval by contacting the BOLT Sales Manager by sending an email to Jason@BOLTLock.com. A minimum of two weeks advance notice is required to allow STRATTEC to issue written approval.
2. Sales promotions can run for a maximum 14 (fourteen) consecutive day period.
3. Customer is allowed to run two promotions maximum in any given calendar year.

Examples of available promotional programs include the following:

1. A free lock or set of locks with the purchase of a POP display
2. A free POP display with the purchase of a certain number of locks
3. A discount of the sales price not to exceed 10% (ten percent) from MAP price of the promoted product.

Policy Modifications:

STRATTEC Reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the MAP policy in whole or in part at any time. Any policy modifications shall be made available to all authorized distributors.
